カトリーナ先生から「特にお薦めの時間帯」をお知らせいただきました。少数で、時には１対１で先生との会話を楽しみたい人は、10時半から11時まで、1時から1時半までをねらって訪問してくださいとのことです。週１回、英会話ミニ講座の記事もぜひご一読ください。
Here is the write up for last week’s EV.
As of this week, we are now halfway through this semester’s English Village. Time flies when you’re having fun!
We have a growing group of regulars each week. Whether it’s a challenging conversation or an advanced English grammar game, they are always up for a challenge.
Equally as exciting are the new first-year students who drop by for a quick chat or game. It’s always a pleasure to meet you and learn about you and your interests. We hope you enjoy the conversation time as much as we do and come again.
We’ve been asked by some students when’s the best time to come in order to have a higher chance of one on one/smaller group conversations. We recommend coming during the following times:
10:30 – 11:00 (11:00 – 11:30 may or may not be busy )
1:00 – 1:30 (12:30 – 1:00 may or may not be busy)
If you haven’t had a chance to drop by, don’t worry, there’s still time.
English Village Thursday 10:30 – 13:30. Check it out!

- Drop by: (phrasal verb) make a brief and/or informal call as a visitor.
- Check it out: (phrasal verb) originating in the 60s and 70s, meaning this is so cool, you have to look at it.
