英語村ニュース(11月第3週)

後期の英語村は、12月1日まで毎週木・金曜日の10:00-13:00、 621教室（6号館）と４号館の間にあるオープンスペースで開催します。お昼しか来られない学生はランチ食べながらでもOKです。

9th Thursday English Village: November 16, 2017

木曜日の後期第9回目の英語村を開催しました。

Hi! Michael and Georgia attended this Thursday’s English Village. Next Thursday is national holiday, so our next (and this semester’s last) Thursday English Village will be on November 30. A Christmas party is planned!

Michael’s message:

We played a travel game with the students, and this week we did English conversation with them, too. Next time is our last English Village for the semester, so we hope many people will join us!

Georgia’s message:

This week we had many interesting English conversations with the students. We’re doing a Christmas-themed Village next, so come and join us!

8th Friday English Village: November 17, 2017

金曜日の後期第8回目の英語村を開催しました。

A message from Malaurie:

About future plans, we could exchange ideas about what each participant wants to do after they graduate from this university and discuss their motivations. We also discussed how we picture our life style or family life and tackled a society issue about the possibilities for electric energy. This was a bit of a difficult topic, which students started and tried to go through. Even though there might have been some disagreement, everybody was able to listen to each other’s point of view. Finally, we tried a “grammar” game with “silly sentences” – congratulations to the winners!

Next week, we will talk about music, above all “Taylor Swift”. Any fan is welcome to share with us. We’ll also try to exchange opinions about “bad things” or things that upset you and what we’d like to change about society or ourselves! See you next week, when we’ll also do a game…
